A magical Yeti dreams of returning to Everest.

"Abominable" is most definitely a kids story, full of warm, rich visuals and an adorable, plush-toy of a Yeti. The focus on the stunning backdrops is so evident the film literally features postcards of each Far Eastern location visited during the narrative. Despite the flurry of adventure, the journey towards Everest plods along laboriously, with the animal companions often trumping their human counterparts for attention and laughs. Far from magical.
