Alien Covenant

The crew of a colony ship in deep-space are redirected off course by a mysterious signal, lured to a threat beyond their reckoning.

"Alien Covenant" is an aesthetically dazzling hybrid of its predecessors. Fans of the saga will be split on the direction of this instalment; it very briefly explores the mythology raised by its precursor in favour of a return to more action and thrills. Despite the pacing and predictability suffering a little at times, scenes of spine-popping gore and Xenomorphs cutting a swath through humans in all of their murderous glory will be sure to keep the audience appeased. Game over, man.
