Blockers

Comedy

Three parents try to stop their teenage daughters from losing their virginity on prom night.

At its heart, "Blockers" is a funny and heartwarming story. Realising that you have to let your children grow up and make mistakes on their own is at the core of this film, and the talented cast provide plenty of laugh out loud moments while they travel down this road. Some of the physical comedy is downright cringe-inducing, but also hilarious. With the bonus of some refreshing social commentary about sexism and sexuality in the modern world, this movie is surprisingly deep. Butt-chug.
