Geostorm

A network of satellites protecting Earth from extreme weather events is hacked, putting the entire world at risk.

"Geostorm" seems to have missed the memo that it was meant to be about the weather. It's a political conspiracy, a forbidden love story and a tale about two estranged brothers reconciling for the good of the world. This film is ridiculously entertaining for all the wrong reasons, with the actors taking their roles very seriously, often to laughably, cheesy extremes. But it's easy to see the dialogue was an afterthought, with the budget being blown on overused CGI sequences that make very little sense. Thunderstruck.
