Get Out

Thriller Horror

A young black man visits the parents of his white girlfriend, only to become suspicious of their overfriendly behaviour.

"Get Out" is extremely creepy, and its audience is subjected to constant and disturbingly consistent levels of anxiety. The overarching racial element is cleverly woven into the story, and works in two significant ways; heightening the level of unease with its uncomfortable truths, and writhing humour from its satire. Jokes aside the film is terrifying, and the story becomes just that little more believable when anchored by the delectable performances of the cast. Get In.
