A band of eclectic scientists form a group to combat ghosts in New York.

The greatest abnormality about the new "Ghostbusters" is how abysmal it really is. This is a truly unfunny and uninspiring remake that only provides a disservice to the original films. While it contains one redeeming quality, a whirlwind of spectral effects that jump out of the screen, it also highlights the fantastic waste of time and resources lost in this desperate revival. Cheap cameos cannot disguise this steaming pile of ectoplasm. Fraudsters.
