Jigsaw

After a series of murders bearing all the markings of the Jigsaw killer, law enforcement find themselves chasing the ghost of a dead man.

"Jigsaw" poses an interesting contradiction - that a film can be new, yet feel so old and tired at the same time. For a franchise renowned for its twists, they definitely don't pack the same punch as they used to. This is due in part to retreading old ground, as well the studios' obvious desire to fuel future prequels and sequels. Adding to the frustrating viewer experience is trying to decipher whether something is a red herring or just terrible acting. After a while, it all becomes pointless. The jig's up - "Saw" is well and truly done.
