Logan

Set in the distant future where mutants are almost extinct, an aged Logan is reluctantly pulled out of hiding with the arrival of a young mutant.

As its title suggests, "Logan" focuses heavily on the man behind the claws, rather than his superhero alter ego. This is the finale after a host of outings for the revered metal-clawed hero, however this time around we're presented with a movie much more intimate and enjoyably complex than anything seen prior. While the fan boys will rejoice at the sight of severed limbs and bloodied claws, the rampant violence also adds much needed consequence and integrity to its story. An extremely entertaining film, but more impressively, a beautiful and bloodied swansong.
