Passengers

Adventure Romance Sci-Fi

Two passengers on a 120-year journey to another planet, wake up 90 years too early after their hibernation pods malfunction.

Riddled with flaws, scientific inaccuracies, misleading marketing material and an extremely corny 'Hollywood' script, it's any wonder why "Passengers" isn't a bigger train wreck. However, due to its charismatic leads, popping visuals and the moral complexity of its story, there is still much enjoyment to be had. While marketed as a romantic blockbuster, this film interestingly acts as more of a discourse on empathy, death and the need for human companionship. It's a bumpy ride, so buckle up.
