Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

The Bennet sisters in nineteenth century England must protect themselves from the zombie apocalypse, while searching for suitable husbands.

The best thing about "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" is that the title tells you exactly what you are getting. This ridiculous take on the Jane Austen classic is hilarious in how seriously it takes itself, as it ramps up the feminism while adding enough action and explosions to distract from the preposterous premise. The romance is nicely balanced and although a little long, overall this is an entertaining gallivant through the zombie apocalypse. Romance on the brain.
