Teenage Priscilla Beaulieu is swept up by the celebrity of Elvis Presley when she meets him at a party, and their codependent relationship continues for 14 years.

The style of the era is revealed with purposeful camera work, the director has an exacting eye for detail and realism. The protagonist's lifestyle was the envy of generations of fans, but we soon discover the rock'n'roll star's wife has little autonomy living cosseted and closeted within the walls of Graceland in all of its shag pile glory.
