Two men meet on a battlefield in France towards the end of WWI, each saving the life of the other, then subsequently, during the roaring twenties, they embark on a monumental scam.

"See You Up There" is an accomplished and visually spectacular movie that explores complex themes with an ornamental splendour, ensuring its audience remains glued to the screen. Tragedy and dark humour are finely balanced. The story is drawn from a novel, a saga with many intersecting storylines, and there's enough material to fill a number of seasons in a television drama, gratifying for audiences in this shorter movie format.
