Suicide Squad

The government form a secret task force of the worst supervillains they have imprisoned to combat any potential threats from the metahumans of the world.

"Suicide Squad" features a killer soundtrack and one of the most promising of ensemble casts, only for the film to fail in its execution. It simply doesn't handle the large assortment of characters well. While there are some clear favourites that steal the show, some of the much less-interesting members of the crew falter with their limited screentime, secondary backstories and shoe-horned contributions to 'saving the world'. It's bitterly disappointing that such striking visuals are wasted on a colourless plot and bland action. Death by boredom.
