The BFG

An orphan named Sophie encounters a giant, who steals her away to giant land after she spots him in the street.

"The BFG" is a cute and whimsical tale, full of quirks and imagination. Delumptious visuals and an ear-busting score all help to bring the human and not-so-human beans to wonderful life. This solid adaptation captures the cosy relationship between Sophie and her new giant friend splendidly, both coming across as rather charming chatbags. While the middle-section of the film may encourage some dozing, it will triumphantly return your attention in the wizzpopping and thoroughly enjoyable final act. Scrumdiddlyumptious.
