The Death and Life of Otto Bloom

A tale of a man who lives his life in reverse, and the lives he affects along the way.

The biggest problem with this film is it's completely unnecessary fake documentary style, which creates a gaping distance between the audience and the characters, and destroys any empathy for the protagonist. In that sense, it works completely against itself. What makes matters worse is its production elements, which are frustratingly amateur, pulling back on any possibility of enjoyment from this story. The concept is thought provoking and unique, and there are some redeeming qualities in the midst, but the end result is a far stretch from its own possibility.
