The Desert Bride

Set in Buenos Aries, a domestic employee who has worked and lived with one family for decades finds herself on the road when her role is no longer needed.

Take an aging woman who has led a sheltered life and put her on a bus out of town and anything can happen. The characters and their situations create an adventure with a small 'a'. Like its protagonist, "The Desert Bride" is a simple, almost humble, movie. It covers complex emotional terrain which is expertly reflected in the rough desert scenery. It's as beguiling an experience as it is understated. I do.
