This Beautiful Fantastic

Bella Brown is a librarian who dreams of becoming an author of children's books.

"This Beautiful Fantastic" lives up to the title, it is enchanting to watch. This tale is largely driven by the back-stories of the characters and rarely is a movie populated by such quirky and likable beings - even encounters with the cantankerous are delightful. The naive and vibrantly coloured style delivers interesting detail in every scene along with the delightful costumes. The story beguiles, much as if it were lifted from a classic children's book. It grows and develops in episodic scenes, blossoming into something quite lovely. Pretty good.
