IFF: Wife & Husband

A TV presenter and a neurosurgeon with marital troubles accidentally exchange their thoughts and memories using a machine, each effectively inhabiting the body of the other.

Body swap comedies are time honoured method for exploring gender stereo-types. "Wife & Husband" is a worthy effort that follows its predecessors without breaking any new ground. The overall delivery is a little clumsy; there are some cheap laughs around erections and menstruation, as well as the unfair distribution of household responsibilities. Fortunately no-one takes themselves too seriously, and there is a lot of fun to be had. To have and to hold.
