47 Meters Down

Two sisters are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean, surrounded by sharks and running out of oxygen.

"47 Meters Down" is an infuriatingly bad film. There's absolutely no drama, tension or scare factor in this story that doesn't seem to comprehend how scuba diving works. The acting is terrible, the computer-generated sharks are even worse, and all of the dialogue seems to have been added in post-production. Our leading ladies seem far too happy being trapped at the bottom of the ocean and it's clear that no one seemed to think through the logistics of filming the majority of a movie underwater. Shark bait.
